What is a pull-down clamp?
Pull-down clamps are characterised by the fact that the workpieces are clamped with a cap screw, which was developed according to DIN 912. If you use the pull-down clamp at the same time as your work, you can clamp the workpieces to be machined securely and precisely in position.
Where can our pull-down clamps be used?
Our pull-down clamps can be used in all areas of clamping technology. If you use our pull-down clamps in mechanical engineering or plant construction, you can benefit from them just as much as if you are using them in toolmaking.
What functions does a pull-down clamp perform?
You use the pull-down clamps available in our shop to position a workpiece so that you can process it according to the specifications of a customer. Note that the clamping element simultaneously presses the workpiece against fixed stops and supports.
Which variants of pull-down clamps can you find in our assortment?
In our assortment you can choose between two variants of pull-down clamps. We offer our products with cranked clamping lever or without clamping lever. The clamping direction of the pull-down clamps with cranked clamping lever can optionally be aligned to the left or to the right. For particularly demanding machining operations, the manufacturer has equipped the pull-down clamps with a prismatic clamping jaw.
What material are our pull-down clamps made of?
For the production of the pull-down clamps available in our shop, the manufacturer has used the materials cast iron and steel.
Cast iron pull-down clamps are less susceptible to corrosion. If you choose a product made of steel, you can also use the pull-down clamp in robust areas.
Which manufacturers do we have in our range?
In our assortment you will find pull-down clamps made by Halder.
What should you pay attention to when buying a pull-down clamp?
Our pull-down clamps only bring you advantages if you choose an element that you can use functionally when machining your workpieces. Therefore, please note that we offer our pull-down clamps with cranked clamping lever as well as without clamping lever.
The clamping direction can be aligned either to the left or to the right. If the workpieces require more demanding work, choose a pull-down clamp with a prismatic clamping jaw.
Pull-down clamps support the fixing and holding of workpieces in various areas of clamping technology. The staff at SToxxparts will be happy to provide you with advice and support if you are looking for the right parts for you in our selection.
