The static load capacity of the joint feet results from the permissible load capacity of the joint ball (strength class 5.8).
The values given in the table (only valid for form OS, KS and KSE) assume a pure compressive load perpendicular to the joint foot. The additional bending and buckling loads that frequently occur in practice lead to a reduction in the load capacity of the screw and must be taken into account accordingly.
For higher loads, joint feet can be combined with commercially available screws of a higher strength class. Preferably, set screws with thrust pin DIN 915 are to be used. The pin must be seated on the bottom of the hole to increase the load capacity of the joint ball.
Swivel feet cannot be dismantled.
