Full ball clamping screws (form A) are used when a point clamping surface is desired. The flattened, movable ball allows non-parallel surfaces to be clamped or supported while avoiding pressure points. The anti-rotation device (form V/VR) ensures that the ball can only be rotated by a maximum of 9º; this ensures that the surface is always clamped.
