Due to their cylindrical design, vial inserts are suitable for installation in plates and housings and are used to check the horizontal position of fixtures, machines and devices. Level indicator inserts are not aligned, i.e. adjustment to the vertical position must be ensured by aligning the receiving component. In the ALS version, the black housing results in a reflection at the edge of the bubble, which significantly improves readability. The KT version is available with a contrast ring inside the vial housing (code number 2), which provides the same effect. Alternatively, a dark wall of the mounting hole can be used to improve contrast.
