Feed wheels are used for low-torque adjustment operations. The coarse adjustment can be made via the rotating cylinder knob (finger feed), the fine adjustment on the knurled ring.
The collet design allows easy "setting" of feed wheels with scale. The scale is absolutely abrasion-resistant and easy to read, as the engraving of the "aluminium-coloured" digits and characters contrasts with the black anodised surface. In addition to the standard scale (indicator S), these feed wheels can also be supplied with any desired scaling.
Line pattern, number sequence, number position and number sequence of a scaling are shown in a clear ordering scheme.
