Nuts for T-slots can be swivelled in, i.e. they can be inserted into the slot at any position. The spring plate prevents unintentional displacement of the nut in the slot, which is particularly advantageous when the profile rail is arranged vertically. This design is characterised by the fact that different groove heights can be bridged. Nuts can be used, for example, to fasten hinges to commercially available profile rails.
