Oil sight glasses in the form of a "cat's eye" use the so-called prism effect to give a clear indication of the oil level independent of the oil colour or oil viscosity. The advantage of this effect is particularly obvious in the case of total underfilling or overfilling and for checking in poor lighting conditions. The sealing ring is embedded in the aluminium body in a radial and planar recess, thus the seal cannot be lost or squeezed out during tightening. Oil sight glasses can also be used for vessels that are under pressure. Test series on the load capacity are available. Mounting instructions: Use mounting nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
