The DDTS range of slides offer a super extension of 200% as standard. Utilising heavy duty 'I' beams the slide can maintain rigidity in demanding applications where the travel exceeds the closed length by a factor of two.
The DDTS-45 slide with a closed length of 350mm has a travel of 700mm (1050mm overall) has a loading of 80kg per pair.
Constructed from 5 cold drawn steel sections this full action ball bearing slide has high precision and excellent level of resistance to shock and vibration when supporting a static load in the closed position. Accordingly, the slide is well suited to mounting on vehicles and trains. Constructed in the tried and tested I beam format, this telescopic slide offers a low overall slide height for its high load capacity.
This slide also has good resistance to applied loads when in the extended position making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications subject to high loads and torque with minimal deflection. Additional variations may be produced with alternative closed lengths, extensions, mounting systems, surface treatments, and ball bearings.
The slides are manufactured from cold drawn steel C45E+C in accordance with EN 10277. Standard ball cages are manufactured from zinc plated sheet metal, and the ball bearings are carbon steel C85 G100 in accordance with DIN 5401. A single DDTS-45 weighs 6.47 kg per metre.
