SDDTS series slides offer 200% super extension as standard. The use of heavy-duty I-beams allows the slide to maintain rigidity in demanding applications where travel exceeds the closed length by a factor of two.
The SDDTS-70 slide, with a closed length of 550 mm, has a travel of 1100 mm (1650 mm total) and a load of 130 kg per pair.
Made of 5 stainless steel 316 L sections, the ball bearing guide features high precision and excellent shock and vibration resistance when supporting a static load in the closed position. Accordingly, the product is well suited to support military truck drawers, offshore storage space and shipboard seating. The beams and ball bearings are made of austenitic 316L. The end stop pins are 304 stainless steel with 430 ferritic stainless steel cages to provide complete corrosion protection.
Due to the extreme strength of the moving I-beam, this rail is robust to applied loads when extended, making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other rails that are manufactured from rolled carbon steel sections. No plastic parts are used in the manufacture of this series, making it ideal for use in extreme temperatures. Grade 316L is an austenitic stainless steel with a very low electromagnetic signature, making it ideal for defense applications.
This rail is highly resistant to applied loads even when extended, making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications subject to high loads and torques with minimal deflection. Other variations can be manufactured with alternative closed lengths, extensions, mounting systems, surface treatments and ball bearings.
Rails are manufactured from milled 316L stainless steel (inox). Standard ball cages are made of 316 stainless steel and ball bearings are made of 316L stainless steel. A single SDDTS-70 weighs 27.55 kg per meter.
