Where is Rohde AG based?
Rohde AG has its headquarters in Nörten-Hardenberg in Lower Saxony. Industrial production takes place both at the site in Nörten-Hardenberg and in Göttingen.
What distinguishes Rohde AG?
Rohde AG is characterised by a long company history. It began in the mid-1920s with the grinding, polishing and nickel-plating of various metal articles. The customers at that time were mainly private customers.
In the years that followed, Rohde AG added a further area of activity in the form of contract surface finishing, which is still an integral part of Rohde Technics todayAfter the end of the Second World War, the production facilities - which the company had begun to build up in the mid-1930s - were further expanded. In addition to contract processing, Rohde Technics started in-house production. Furthermore, sales were to be further increased with the addition of tea tables and instrument trolleys made of anodised aluminium plates to the product range.
But with the currency reform in 1949 came a slump in sales. As a result, Rohde AG abandoned the area of in-house production.In 1973, the new factory in Nörten-Hardenberg was put into operation. With this, Rohde AG experienced a new growth in turnover.
