The optimum twist of 20° achieves a high splitting effect, can be optimally used in conjunction with the SIMPLEX splitting hammer and the SIMPLEX suggestion hammers, solid rotary splitting wedge made of drop-forged tempered steel, striking plate ground and with edge break, cutting edge bright ground, with guide groove and forged inclined grooves as well as handle recesses forged into the sides

Notes
Always drive in steel wedges only with a soft-face hammer with plastic inserts. Hammering steel on steel can cause chipping.
