The cover cap protects the bearings against contamination and conceals fastening elements such as washers.
For fastening the cover cap, the handwheel hub is provided with a groove in which the elastic segments of the cap engage.
The cover cap is pressed on by hand, for dismounting it can be lifted off at the recess with a screwdriver.
During assembly, the needle bearings are greased, which provides sufficient permanent lubrication.
