Stainless steel fastening nuts are used, for example, for fastening ventilation elements, oil sight glasses and screw plugs. They are used in particular when the wall thickness for inserting a thread is too small or this is to be avoided to simplify production. The stainless steel variants can also be fixed inside the housing by spot welds to facilitate assembly. They are also generally suitable for applications with particularly aggressive ambient conditions.
