Nuts for T-slots can be swivelled in, i.e. they can be inserted into the slot at any position. The spring element (ball / pressure spring) prevents unintentional displacement of the nut in the groove, which is a great advantage, especially when the profile rail is arranged vertically. Nuts can be used, for example, to fasten hinges to commercially available profile rails.
