The stainless steel screen inserts are designed for use as replacement screens for stainless steel line screens. However, they are also suitable for application-specific installation as upstream or downstream protective devices. Possible particles carried along in a liquid or gaseous medium can be prevented from moving on according to the mesh size. Units or housing interiors are thus protected from foreign bodies which, due to their size, could impair their function or service life. The necessary installation space is shown in the sketch. As a rule, an additional O-ring is fitted around the circumference for sealing.
