Vent valves with sealing disc vent a vessel after the opening pressure specified in the table has been exceeded and thus protect against impermissibly high internal vessel pressure. A green coloured ring indicates the opening pressure of 200 mbar. In normal condition, the sealing disc closes the vessel and thus prevents contamination of the vessel interior from the outside, e.g. by dust. The air outlet as a function of the opening pressure can be seen in the diagram above. The valves are tested for tightness and opening pressure. Mounting note: Use mounting nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
