Ventilation filters are used when an exchange of air between the inside of the container and the environment is to be made possible. The filter function is indicated by a blue coloured ring.
The filter prevents particles carried by the air, e.g. dust, from entering the inside of the tank from the outside and at the same time ensures that e.g. oil particles cannot get outside, i.e. into the environment.
The air flow rate as a function of the differential pressure can be taken from the diagram above.
Assembly note:
Use fastening nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
