Ventilation filters are used when an exchange of air between a closed interior and the environment is to be enabled. This effectively prevents underpressure or overpressure occurring in the system.
The stainless steel wire mesh prevents particles of a certain size carried by the air from entering the interior from the outside and at the same time ensures that e.g. oil particles are separated and thus do not enter the environment.
A marking with the sign "BE" (form A) or a blue coloured ring (form B) identify the filter function. The recommended installation position is vertically upwards.
Installation note:
Use fixing nuts for wall thicknesses below 4 mm.
