Edge protection profiles are used for end face termination on sheets and plates. They protect against injuries and damage to surfaces caused by sharp edges. In addition, an optical decorative effect is achieved by the edge closure and any necessary reworking of sheared or laser-cut sheet edges can be reduced to an absolute minimum. In order to ensure a permanent fit of the profiles and to facilitate installation, it is recommended that the specified guide values for the installation radii (r1...r3) are adhered to. Installation is carried out by hand, alternatively with a soft-face hammer. The embedded clamping insert protects against self-loosening. Adhesives or other fasteners are not required.
