With edge protection sealing profile corners, right-angled sealing runs can be implemented quickly and easily without a minimum installation radius or manual "cutting free" of the profile. The corner joint is tightly and permanently connected by vulcanisation.
The leg length l can be shortened or extended with a corresponding profile. Mounted "compressed" with an oversize of approx. 1% of the total length, the joints lie closed and do not have to be glued.
In function, the profile should be deformed to the dimension w2 to ensure an optimum sealing effect. Profiles made of NBR are to be provided if contact with oils, fuels or cooling lubricants may occur. The EPDM versions are made of UL 50 and UL 94-HB certified edge protection sealing profile.
