The basic principle of fork joints corresponds to the fork head of DIN 71752 (form A), however, in deviation from DIN, they have a rotatable shaft as well as an additional pin with axial shaft locking (form KL and SL) which can be mounted / dismounted without tools. The rotatable shaft makes it possible to compensate for non-dynamic radial movements, such as those that can occur when using cable pulls. In addition, the otherwise necessary alignment of rod ends during assembly is not required.
