Due to its shape, the pull ring of the stainless steel indexing plunger can be used both as a screw-in aid during assembly and as an indexing lock (form C / form CK). Indexing plungers with an indexing lock are used when the indexing pin should not protrude temporarily. For this purpose, the pull ring is turned by 90° after the pin has been retracted. The ring is held in this position by a detent notch.
