The SDTS-90 telescopic rail is made of 316L (1.4404) stainless steel, which has very high corrosion resistance. The austenitic structure of 316L stainless steel provides excellent toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures. The beams are bright ground on all surfaces as standard.
The SDTS-90 is particularly suitable for highly corrosive applications exposed to the elements for extended periods. Its compact 90-mm profile makes it an excellent choice for chassis battery rafts in adverse conditions or for military vehicles operating in sub-zero temperatures. It is a full extension telescopic rail for extreme loads (300 kg-600 kg/pair), suitable for a wide range of applications. At 500 mm, 1 pair has a full extension capacity of 600 kg.
Made of milled stainless steel profiles with machined ball races, the rails offer excellent shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly, the product is well suited for supporting generators and work platforms, even at 120% over-extension. The beams and ball bearings are made of austenitic 316L. The end stop pins are made of grade 304 with grade 430 ferritic stainless steel cages to provide complete corrosion protection.
Due to the extreme strength of the moving I-beam, this rail is robust to applied loads when extended, making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other rails that are manufactured from rolled carbon steel sections. No plastic parts are used in the manufacture of this series, making it ideal for high temperature applications. A single SDTS-90 weighs 19.78 kg per meter.
