The following application guidelines must be observed for DIN 582 ring nuts, also with regard to the load capacity specifications listed in the table:
The ring nut must be fully screwed on and rest fully on the bearing surface.
The mating thread must be as long as the length of the nut thread and the material of the bolt must be sufficient for the load capacity of the ring nut.
Further application guidelines are contained in the operating instructions which are enclosed with each ring nut (see also at www.ganter-griff.de/service).
The official standard sheet still provides for sizes M42, M48, M56, M64, M72 x 6, M80 x 6 and M100 x 6.
