Hammerhead nuts for T-slots can be inserted perpendicular to the T-slot in the same way as rhombus nuts.
When the fastening screw is tightened, the nut is positioned transversely by the torque and thus anchored in the slot.
This process is further supported by the design with braking torque (form MB). In this case, the nut thread is deliberately made difficult to move.
For loosening, it is sufficient to turn the screw or the nut by 90° in order to remove both elements together with the fastened part.
The clamping surface of the nut is designed as a pointed serration, which ensures that any anodised layer is broken open in order to establish an electrically conductive connection.
