The pressure tang of the grub screws DIN 6332 is designed in such a way that it can be used both directly and in conjunction with a thrust piece for clamping. The tang diameter of the grub screws is smaller than the core diameter of the threads, so that they can also be screwed in on the tang side. Due to the snap ring or the retaining spring of the thrust piece, a very simple, detachable connection between the grub screw and the thrust piece is achieved.
