The Professional range of heavy duty rails made from 6082 T6 aluminum and stainless bearings. Thanks to our standard manufacturing process, which involves milling extruded beams, we can supply these rails in virtually any aluminum desired. They are especially suited for military and airborne applications where the right choice of material affects performance.
This is a high quality, smooth, full extension rail with milled ball races for accuracy and a light preload. A choice of surface finishes is available. The bearings, cages and end stops are stainless steel making the guide corrosion resistant.
The ADTSB-40 lightweight guide has a load capacity of 125 kg at 600 mm. The slide is designed for full travel front and rear. This is made possible by an internal rocker system that holds and releases the beams one at a time. The first beam is fully extended and only then is the second beam released.
We do not recommend using standard ADTSB slides on precision pick-and-place robots or high-speed shuttles unless they have been adjusted at the factory and tested by the customer in the field before going into production. The slides are limited to operating speeds of <0.3m/s.
Strengthened by the moving I-beam, which allows for a very compact design for applications such as aircraft seats and bi-directional drawers where only a two-beam slide would normally fit. Comes with a standard anodized finish. Please contact our engineers for other finishes. A single ADTSB-40 weighs 2.23 kg per meter.
