Circular vials are used to check the horizontal position of fixtures, machines as well as devices and instruments. The vials are aligned with the mounting surface by means of the mounting threads offset by 120°. An alignment ball on the underside serves as a tipping point. The desired position can thus be achieved by targeted tightening of the screws, so that the bubble is located within the marking ring when horizontal alignment is achieved.
