The compensating clamp is used to support over-determined clamping points on components.

The advantages of the compensating clamp are:

  • Supporting unstable components without deformation
  • Vibration inhibition during machining
  • Compact, low profile design
  • Supporting ribs, beads and lugs to stiffen clamped components
  • deformation-free support of unmachined parts
  • user-friendly handling
  • due to flat and long design clamping with adjustable clamping lever also possible outside the workpiece

Material

Handle

  • Zinc-Die-cast

Tensioner

  • Steel, case-hardened, burnished, ground

Operation

  • By releasing the clamping lever, the support bolt applies itself to the workpiece with slight spring force.
  • By clamping the clamping lever, the support bolt is locked without changing the path.
  • After removing the workpiece, the clamping lever is released. Then press the support bolt in the starting position and clamp it via the lever.

By screwing grub screws or supports into the internal thread of the support bolt, the support height can be adjusted.
