Query and remote control of the scale via external control devices or computers using KERN Communication Protocol (KCP). The KCP is a standardized interface command set for KERN scales and other instruments that allows retrieval and control of all relevant parameters and instrument functions. KERN instruments with KCP can thus be easily connected to computers, industrial control systems and other digital systems. The KCP protocol is largely compatible with the MT-SICS protocol.
