With the HEICO-TEC® clamping nut, large bolted joints can be easily pretensioned by hand. A torque wrench is sufficient to assemble the clamping nut quickly and reliably. Electric, hydraulic or pneumatic tools are not required for this.
A unique feature of the HEICO-TEC® Tensioning Nut is that the pre-tensioning force of a large main thread is distributed over many smaller pressure bolts. These are tightened one after the other and thus achieve maximum pretensioning force. Manual work that saves time and is highly precise.
HEICO-TEC clamping nuts in strength class 8 meet all the requirements of ISO 898-2, so you can easily replace any conventional hexagon nut with the same strength class. Benefit from all the advantages of a hand-assembled nut.
