The thrust pin of the tommy screws DIN 6306 is designed in such a way that it can be used both directly and in conjunction with a thrust piece for clamping. The snap ring of the thrust piece creates a very simple and quick connection between the screw and thrust piece. A thrust piece can also be used instead of DIN 6311. In this case, the tommy screw and thrust piece must be ordered separately. The sliding toggle is held in any position by the compression spring. The plastic end caps limit the sliding movement. They are pressed on positively and can be supplied unassembled if the individual parts are to be galvanically treated. The official standard specifies steel rings at this point.
