Sockets are mounted by hammering them in using a soft-face hammer. The lamellas bridge a manufacturing tolerance of the inner diameter or inner square of ±0.5 mm. This enables the assembly of screws in tubes. The dimensions are based on construction tubes, but a check of the tolerance position of the tube is recommended.
