Stainless steel swivel feet are used for setting up and levelling devices and fixtures.
The journal diameter d3 is smaller than the core diameter of the thread, so that the adjusting spindle can be screwed in on the journal side. The pressure spigot can be inserted into the plate without any problems, and the retaining spring ensures that it is secured axially.
The values given in the table for the static load capacity apply to a pure pressure load perpendicular to the joint foot. The additional bending and buckling stresses that frequently occur in practice lead to a reduction in the load capacity and must be taken into account accordingly.
