Stainless steel indexing plungers are intended for use in hygienic areas and meet hygiene requirements on the button side (front hygiene). Wipers between the button and the guide as well as the sealing ring between the guide and the housing keep the indexing mechanism on the button side tight. At the same time, the high surface quality and the dead space-free fastening prevent dirt from adhering and make cleaning easier.
Indexing plungers with form C indexing lock are used when the indexing pin should not protrude temporarily. For this purpose, the knob is turned by 90° after the pin has been retracted. The knob is held in this position by a detent notch.
Fastening or through holes on the housing must be made at right angles, burr-free and without chamfer. This ensures the function of the sealing rings.
