In addition, countersinks with HICOAT coating offer high hot hardness and oxidation resistance. They can therefore be used on hard materials without the addition of coolants. High-performance countersinking tools with a countersinking angle of 90° for countersinking 90° screws for particularly tough and hard materials such as alloy and high-strength steel and stainless steel. For reliable torque transmission, taper countersinks from a countersink diameter of 28 mm have a three-face shank. Thanks to HICOAT coating HC-FEP, they have high hardness and wear resistance. They are very temperature resistant and have a particularly long tool life. They can also be used in the higher cutting speed range and without coolants and lubricants.
