Traversing slides are usually only supplied mounted in conjunction with a square linear unit and for function control. The square of the traverse carriage is unmachined in the standard version, which together with the tolerance of the tube can lead to relatively large play. This can be adjusted in one direction with the clamping screws. In the other direction (90 ° to it) a defined low clearance is only possible by appropriate machining (special design) of the carriage square edge. The clamping screws are DIN 912 hexagon socket head cap screws in the standard version. They can be replaced by clamping lever sets (see dimension table for ordering designation).
