Snap locks are characterised by the fact that locking is effected by a radially arranged, spring-mounted slide.
When the door is closed, the locking is automatic. The bevelled slider is first pushed back via a correspondingly arranged lug and then brought into the locking position by the compression spring.
Unlocking when the door is opened is effected via the push button.
In addition, snap locks are used if no operating element is required to operate the door or if this is arranged separately.
