Edge protection sealing profiles are used to seal doors, flaps and hatches. For this purpose, the profiles are pressed by hand onto the end faces of sheets or panels. The embedded clamping insert holds the clamping profile reliably, glue or other fasteners are not required. When installed, the profile should be deformed by the components to be sealed, which corresponds to the dimension w2. This ensures an optimum sealing effect. In order to ensure a permanent tightness of the profiles and to facilitate installation, it is recommended that the specified guide values for the installation radii (r1...r4) are adhered to.
